Galp Energia awarded Technoedif the contract for the execution in the EPCM (Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management) modality of the Revamping and Shutdown 2018 works of the FCC unit – Fluid Catalytic Cracking – at the Sines Refinery.
The Procurement Engineering works started in February 2017 and lasted until April 2018. The construction works started in May 2018 and ended with the general shutdown of the FCC planned for October 2018.
During the general shutdown, the new “reactor approach reaction” will be installed, an operation that will imply the total disassembly of the reactor67 m in diameter and 55 m, being necessary to return to a capacity to transport up to 1250 tons.
