Within the scope of the modernization carried out at Tabaqueira’s Albarraque installation, Technoedif did the Climatization of the Secondary Halls Project (area of 5100m2 / 5.5m in height), which include 4 new air treatment units (ATUs), respective metal support structures, new conducts and distribution units, piping (cold/hot water and steam), centralized hot water production system by exchange steam/water, power supply and GTC system for new equipment.
To climatize the Secondary production Halls, air intakes of approximately 139000m3/h for Secondary Hall A and 127000m3/h for Secondary Hall B are required.
The new ATUs allow a strict control of the temperature and humidity conditions, allowing operation even in “free cooling” to optimize energy consumption.
Technoedif executed the Basic and Detailed Engineering, Technical Analysis of Proposals and Construction Supervision.
